If you want to facilitate YOUR DISCOVERY of different aspects of yoga, meditation, affirmations, constructive questions this course is for you.
There’s material for novices and people with many years of experience. In fact, if you’re an instructor, or particularly adept at any of the disciplines, you are invited to contact me about being a guest instructor.
Although the course provides written information about yoga and allows you to download 70 step-by-step videos that show how to do yoga postures, the course’s goal is to assist you in INTEGRATING different practices so that you can relax, rejoice and rejuvenate.
As an example, many people enjoy meditating to the sounds of nature, flute music or piano, but some people prefer to mediate to rap music. The Meditation with a Twist section of this course presents eight videos. Each video combines the same visuals with different type of music—guitar, piano, Bollywood, French rap, 90’s old school rap, Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata, Gregorian chants and a mashup that includes House of Pain. Watching each video provides a totally different experience. If you are like me, you will discover that your appreciation of the different types of music expands as you watch the various versions of the video.
Unlike most courses, this course does not expect you to watch every video (lecture.) I’ve gone out of my way to provide a wide variety of resources for different types of people.
The videos range from 2 to 20 minutes, and if you put them on autoplay, you can use them to do a yoga practice or meditation.
Take this course if you want to feel more balanced, or if you want to learn or improve your yoga and meditation skills. If you’re still not sure, I’ve made it possible for you to preview much of the content of this course. (See Lecture 1. You can preview it for free.) I’ll see you inside.
